  1. Redmi 5 plus you must be in Unlock Bootloader.

  4. For Redmi 5 Plus you can use an unofficial version or you can also use Brigudav TWRP.
How to Install TWRP Redmi 5 Plus:
  1. Activate the USB Debugging in the settings menu first
  2. Turn off your Redmi 5 plus, then turn it back on to fastboot mode, the way is by pressing the power button and volume down (-) simultaneously.
  3. If the fastboot logo appears as below, then release it 
  4. Next connect the Redmi 5 Plus to the PC / Laptop that you will use using a USB cable
  5. Then open the Device Manager on the PC / Laptop that you will use, make sure the driver has been detected (Android Phone, Adb Bootloader Interface). If it has been detected, proceed to the next stage
  6. Extract the Redmi 5 Plus TWRP file that you downloaded earlier,
  7. If you have, open the TWRP folder and click 2x on the TOOLKIT until the CMD TOOL appears.
  8. To install TWRP on Xiaomi redmi 5 Plus you can choose no. 4 Unofficial TWRP Redmi 5 Plus
  9. Then follow the command on the CMD until it's finished
  10. When it's finished, your cellphone will enter Recovery mode
  11. If it has entered Recovery mode or TWRP, you must install AntiBootlop (this is to avoid bootloop) Then just choose reboot to System.
How to Root Redmi 5 Plus with SuperSu:
  1. Download the SuperSu file on the link provided above
  2. Turn off the Redmi 5 plus that you use
  3. Then enter Recovery mode by pressing the Power Button and Volume Down (-) simultaneously
  4. After that, select install and look for the SuperSu.zip file that you downloaded earlier and select the file
  5. Wait until the process is complete
  6. When it's finished, then install AntiBootlop (this is to avoid bootloop) Then just choose reboot to System.
  7. If the SuperSU application has been installed on your Redmi 5 plus, it means that the root process you have done has been successful.
